GPS trackers: Upgrade before 2G shutdown
When you think about why technology changes so quickly it would most likely stem from the fact that humans have become more integrated with technology. The more integrated we become, the more we expect to be able to have increased communication and to be able to perform more efficient tasks. This is, no doubt, the reason why AT&T has made the decision to shut down 2G networks in an effort to ramp up their newer networks and enable more customers to have a better experience. As a result, our GPS trackers will also be operating only on the newer 3G network.
We can imagine that the news to shut down 2G network completely came as a shock to some business owners. For this reason our team, at US Fleet Tracking, is available to make this transition as smooth as possible. If you still have 2G network devices, the following upgrade offers for GPS trackers with 3G network are currently in existence:
- Upgrade to any of our 3G GPS trackers and get $100 off per device.
- Upgrade for FREE to any of our 3G GPS trackers with a 2 year agreement.
For more details about these offers, please click here.
Should you choose to not upgrade, your devices will be deactivated when AT&T discontinues service for bands of 2G networks. At that time, you will no longer be charged for service on those GPS trackers.
We are on standby to help you transition if need be. If you need direct assistance with upgrading your fleet from the 2G network to the 3G network our team would be happy to help you either by email, chat, or telephone. Simply contact technical support or your sales representative.
